Primary routines – Oracy and full sentence answers

Rachel Everatt

At Dixons, the expectation is that all our students speak in full sentences throughout the academy day. This begins when the students arrive with us in EYFS. Of course, we understand that our younger students will need more scaffolding with this, so we use a combination of ‘my turn your turn’ and our full sentences non-verbal cue to support and remind our students to use full sentences.
